JEDI and BELONGING

Chetana has been involved in JEDI work for over 8  years when it was more commonly known as Cultural Competency. The Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion field has increased and since the horrific murder of George Floyd in 2020, many companies have began to look at their own ratio of employees and how the leadership is actually hearing and listening to their employees. Are diverse voices being heard and are they offered a seat at the table?

 

Chetana's experience comes from a 'lived experience' as well as being involved in work groups to implement JEDI programs and develop Affinity groups as well as planning events that celebrate cultures of employees. Raising awareness on key religious dates and empowering individuals in the organization to share their backgrounds.

 

Chetana has a proven track-record and is versed in the importance of JEDI & Belonging work.

Chetana believes that Sustainability and Environmental Justice are closely linked and the 3 pillars: Sustainability, JEDI & Belonging and Yoga are all inter-linked and to bring them together can only benefit the company and the individuals.
